Leonard Hollar was born and raised in Oklahoma. He is retired and now
lives in Northwest Louisiana, when he's home at all. When he's not at
home, he's often attending an event with the Society for Creative
Anachronism.

A persistent cuss, he started college at Oklahoma Christian College
in 1965 and graduated with a Bachelor of Criminal Justice degree from
Louisiana State University at Shreveport in 1997 with a stop for an
Associate Degree at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, LA
in 1984 while still in the Army. In addition, he spent time in the
Oklahoma National Guard and the U. S. Army and working on one sort of
airplane or another from T-37 "Tweets" to U-6 Beavers to RU-21's to
KC-135's. He has also been a police officer, private investigator and
armed guard. Thanks to his Uncle Sam he has been able to add world
traveler; having visited Vietnam once and Germany twice during fifteen
years in the Army.
Leonard is the author of "Just one of Those Days" in
Grantville Gazette,
Vol. 2, and is on Eric Flint's Firearms Committee, the official "Gun
Nuts" for the 1632 universe. He has also helped edit several stories
and two books for other authors in the Baen pantheon. |
