Kevin H. Evans, currently involved in restoration to operation of the 2926, the
largest 4-8-4 steam
locomotive built, (almost one million pounds).

I’m employed by the DOT, FAA, as an environmental tech,
where I run and repair boilers, engine generator sets, and a 480vac 10,000 amp
bus. Past employment includes years as a
tool and die maker, boiler maker’s helper, and 13+ years in the U.S. Army where
